The 1st International Green Technology Youth Summit in the world.

International students consistently excel beyond their peers in advanced countries. However, education in green technology and sustainability entrepreneurship is often not introduced until the university level. GreenTech Youth Summit, a global initiative in the green technology and sustainability sector, is here to make a difference for the next generation.

We have developed a Green Technology and Sustainability programme led by a team of esteemed global experts in this field, experienced environmental consultants, and university professors. This programme adheres to international standards for Green Technology and Sustainability but is tailored to suit the diverse environmental systems across the globe.

At GreenTech Youth Summit, we believe in empowering the international youth with the necessary knowledge and entrepreneurial skills in green technology and sustainability to shape their own futures and contribute positively to the global environment!

2025 GTYS Winners' Project

BioFértilMX (Junior 1st Prize)

BioFértilMX transforms plastic waste into organic fertilizer using Pseudomonas putida to break down toxic polyurethane. Producing 1,500 kg monthly at $10/kg, it earns $15,000 revenue with $10,300 profit after costs. With a $10,400 startup investment recovered in one month, BioFértilMX is both eco-friendly and highly profitable — turning pollution into solution!

Green Bin (Junior 2nd Prize)

Our team created a solar-powered Green Bin made from 100% recycled plastic that uses AI technology to automatically sort waste into glass, paper, organic, metal, and plastic. Combining sustainability with smart design, it reduces landfill waste, promotes recycling, and helps households manage trash responsibly.

Green Technology (Junior 3rd Prize)

Our business produces organic kitchen sponges made from mushroom mycelium and infused with natural antibacterial oils like tea tree and citrus. Packaged in water-soluble starch, they eliminate plastic waste, save water, and protect marine life. After use, they’re fully compostable, turning into nutrient-rich fertilizer—a closed-loop, eco-friendly solution for everyday cleaning.

Eco-Pen (Senior 1st Prize)

We propose the Bagasso Medical Pen, a sustainable innovation in injectable medicine delivery. This device utilizes ampoules made from advanced fibers synthesized from three essential elements, all extracted from bagasse, the natural byproduct of sugarcane. By converting agricultural waste into high-performance medical materials, our proposal aims to reduce plastic dependency, minimize environmental impact, and introduce a greener, circular approach to medical device design.

Ecoglow (Senior 2nd Prize)

Ecoglow is a greentech company pioneering sustainable electricity generation by converting plastic and wood waste into energy through the process of pyrolysis. Our innovative approach not only addresses the pressing issue of waste management but also provides a reliable source of electricity for communities in Mexico that lack consistent access. By bringing clean, renewable energy directly to homes, we aim to improve the quality of life for Mexican families, enhancing opportunities for education, health, and local development. Ecoglow sells this clean energy to environmentally conscious customers, creating a revenue stream that fuels social impact initiatives, strengthens local economies, and fosters long-term community resilience. Through this model, we combine environmental sustainability with social progress, turning waste into a catalyst for positive change.

EcoTile (Senior 3rd Prize)

EcoTile is a smart, modular floor tile system made of durable and sustainable porcelain. Underneath each tile is a hidden water storage compartment equipped with an automatic water sensor system that detects rainfall or graywater and stores it for later use. Designed to be installed in rooftops, floors, balconies, etc. EcoTile helps households capture, store, and reuse water for tasks like watering plants, mopping, or flushing toilets, without changing daily habits. By integrating seamlessly into the spaces we already walk on, EcoTile can help homes save up to 40% of their water usage, especially in cities like Mexico City where water is scarce and 40% is lost through leaks. It’s green technology that blends into everyday life, silently fighting the water crisis, one step at a time.
